White is the #1 over the entire history of appliances the forever finish. Just sayin. It's really tough to find 'regular' people who don't HATE SS--due to the clean up/finger print issues. But given the length of time appliances last with all the "energy efficiency" mechanisms in them...it's a five year commitment no matter what color you choose!! It's not the same for sinks and cupboards which ought to last you your life in the home. I think the suggestions are 'go with the expected' which is white or stainless. The sink does not need to match your appliances.

I disaggree stainless is the best finish for appliance just plain old stainless that allows you to choose applainces for how they work not becuase they match in color. I have even stainless cabinets in part of my catering kitcehn it takes 5 minutes at the end of a work day to have all the stainless looking like new 17 yrs later . A microfiber cloth with hot water a touch of vinegar and wiped in the direction of the grain on all SS surfaces easy peasey . No matter color you still need to clean it . BTW stainless sinks are stillIMO the best choice too.
